The 2011 Parker & Partners' Politzer Prize is now open

Parker & Partners, Australia's leading bi-partisan public affairs specialists are inviting entries from Federal Parliamentarians for the 2011 Parker & Partners' Politzer Prize.

The Parker & Partners' Politzer Prize is our annual photographic competition for Australia's politicians to showcase their passion for their local communities and environment. Each Member and Senator is invited to submit a photo that captures the essence of their electorate with the finalists forming the 2011 Parker & Partners' Australian Political Calendar.

Now in its fifth year, entries will be judged by a panel of leading Press Gallery journalists - David Speers, Karen Middleton, Malcolm Farr, Mike Bowers and Steve Lewis with the finalists and winners announced later in the year.

Whether your electorate is in a rural or regional area or within one of our capital cities, there is an essence to the landscape and the community that makes your electorate unique. This is what the Politzer Prize aims to capture.

Parker & Partners has a long standing tradition of supporting the not-for-profit sector - whether through our annual sponsorship of the Press Gallery Mid Winter Ball or through our pro bono work for organisations as diverse as Bell Shakespeare, The Climate Institute and the Australian Peacekeeping Memorial Project. In keeping with these ongoing community commitments, we are again offering a $5,000 donation for the winner of the Politzer Prize to give to the charity, school or community organisation of his or her choice.
